Since I was 10 or so, I was a big fan of David Bowie. His work was pure gold, he knew how to do music and acting, he was just awesome.
I knew about Labyrinth for a long time, but I haven't seen it until 4 years ago. And it's just awesome. Especially being a collaboration between Jim Henson and George Lucas.
So, I was shocked when I heard of David's passing. I decided to make this not only as a contribution to the Back to the 80's Art Jam, but as a 30th anniversary tribute to Labyrinth and Bowie.
Also because that film is 80's gold.
King Jareth and Sarah Williams belong to Labyrinth Enterprises (Brian Froud, Jim Henson Productions, Lucasfilm Limited, and The Walt Disney Company.). THEREFORE, NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT HAS BEEN INTENDED WHATSOEVER.
